Radiation education

Want to further your education in radiation? CRREI is an international hub providing qualifications and professional development courses to individuals, students and organisations.

Choose to study in the classroom, at your place of work, or anywhere online.

Tertiary education

Right now, there is a shortage of radiation professionals in many industries that deal with radiation.

CRREI is establishing a number of tertiary education options at The University of Adelaide, including short and professional development courses.

For companies, government groups and employees looking for training in a specific area, we can tailor programs to your circumstances. Being based at The University of Adelaide gives us great flexibility, including access to a variety of world-class expertise across any discipline.

Other Australian and international organisations are working with us to develop CRREI as a regional hub of excellence for education of nuclear technologies and their applications.

If you are currently enrolled at university, we invite you to our work experience program. The program will give you hands-on experience for your research or studies, and an inside look of the industry.

Courses available now or in development include:

Primary & secondary education

We offer new and interesting ways for school-aged children to learn about radiation. They get to see how radiation affects our everyday lives and learn to understand where to find it.

CRREI’s scientists are natural-born presenters that have a way of effortlessly engaging young minds and exciting them into STEM-related subjects.

Inspiring the next generation to understand science and radiation – and maybe even consider a career in it – requires that we provide scientifically accurate information in ways that are fun and interesting.
